I came to Germany from Italy for my Erasmus exchange just as the German government decided on a strict lockdown. I live in a small town and all the shops were closed except the supermarket. So after the 1st month, I mostly stay home and don't want to go out at all. Still, I was excited because I was new to a place, and I've always wanted to date German guys - I think they're sexy and cool. So I used Tinder. And then I met a guy, he talked very nicely in chat, we decided to go for a walk, a long walk. It was nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. I came home and didn't think much about it. I hope you've heard of having a meal full of dishes, not being able to finish it, and when you have to pay... It's only $ 1.3. Yes, I spelled it right, it's VND35,000, which is a little more than $1. I am applying for a working student job at the moment, try to make a move to Germany when I am still studying in Italy. And after a lot of application, I got this interview with a company in Berlin. We had a talk, things seem to go alright, I did my best. I did the interview while I am still working in the exposition, which is a very heavy job that I might get back to you later on other posts. But I have no choice of doing the interview in the meanwhile because when I got the invitation, I already agreed to go to work this time. So its not easy to making a call while I was working in the exhibition with massive crows and so many things going on, but I did it. And they seem to like me. I got to the 2nd round which means they gave me a technical test, it was doing a whole campaign to attract their new customers - ok way too much in my opinion. This is my favorite project during my MBA degree: A marketing plan for opening a new restaurant in Milan, Italy. I was very devoted for it. During the process of making this plan, I was lucky to read the book "Pour your heart into it" of  Howard Schultz about how he built the Brand Starbucks and it was great help for my project. I recommend you to read this book if you also want to know more about traditional marketing, specially for retail brand. The book is much more helpful than many degrees promoted out there about marketing. It was pay off, after many time checking and understand the brand as well as project, my project stand out right when I present to the professors and other fellows. She gave us maximum score and it also the moment I realize that I can do marketing, and I will do it well.
