Is Vietnamese foods the cheapest foods in the world?

I hope you've heard of having a meal full of dishes, not being able to finish it, and when you have to pay...
It's only $ 1.3. Yes, I spelled it right, it's VND35,000, which is a little more than $1. Turns out, we're not only good at the Vietnam War, but we're also good at cooking.

I remember all the days I went out for a huge brunch on the weekend, never had to think much about money, and didn't have to worry about cooking (which I do now in Europe)

What do you think when it comes to Asian food? Japanese food? Thai food? Korean Kimchi? Well, they are great, but you also miss so much more
There are so many things in this country that don't seem to make sense. Like in one of the poorest countries in the world, people are super happy and smiling.
People have some of the best food and eat out very often.
Vietnamese food is a big part of my heart, it is simple and beautiful food cooked by my mother and grandmother while the kids run around in the countryside on hot summer days.
These dishes, if only some white rice, vegetables, and the simple fish sauce, are our childhood, loved and kept forever.
Until I grew up, I had the chance to travel and taste so many different famous dishes of our country. I came to believe that our food is definitely one of the most amazing in the world. It's special because of the taste, the companion of healthy and great balance between vegetables and meat, which makes our dishes delicious but not too heavy. However, there is more to it that may shock you and many others, it is an increasingly important part of the food here. What is it?

You can get a soup with meat/shrimp, squid, and a very tasty and complex soup plus spring rolls - both are amazingly delicious.

And you'll be surprised when you pay, it will cost you as much as .......1,5$. Yes, it's less than $2 for a meal with 2 delicious courses like in the picture.

Eating out is so expensive and luxurious, it's only for people with a lot of money. No, there is a place that is so poor, but people eat out often and they always have good food at a very cheap price. That's also because there's a huge variety of street food or super small family restaurants that have been making the same dishes for years and are so skilled at preparing them but keep the price as low as possible.

And where in the world can you have not only great food but variety. Because the country shape is pretty long, there are different dishes in each region, which is the same in Italy.
People cooked a lot in the past, which in turn created a colorful culture of cuisine, and here, not only tasty, diverse, but also exotic and unique.

Have you tried Bailout yet?

Have you ever tried this ...?

You probably guessed it right, yes, it's raw blood, but you won't know it's very tasty if you have the courage to try it.

And this is a very unique cafe that you may have never heard of, but it is one of the best among cafes around the world.

It's EGG COFFEE!!! Coffee mixed with raw egg!

Some people come to Vietnam and complain that we eat way too much rice. But hold on, don't let that stop you from enjoying the real cuisine here, which obviously has a lot more to explore than rice, with hundreds of varieties of noodles, super delicious sandwiches, rolls, BBQ. And there's so much more!
It's an experience worth trying once in a lifetime, I'm sure.
